Voices in Buildings brings together artists and musicians: a continuous soundtrack running throughout the event, with musicians dropping in and out as a backdrop to a loose schedule of performances.

Working with my friend Ben Owen, I have produced two of these events to date, one at the incredible Dissenter Space and the other at the equally wonderful Greyfriars Charteris Centre in Edinburgh.

It’s a cross between a live gig and durational art show, with little in the way of barriers between performers and audience. Writer Greg Thomas had nice things to say about the inaugural event here.
